About this site

This site is one calculator and one printable plan. It is built for Texas households that want to know how long a specific backup lasts for their own appliances.

How we make money

Right now we do not earn anything from this site, and it contains no partner or affiliate links. Nothing has been applied for. If we add links to retailers or manufacturers that pay a commission, they will be labeled, will carry rel="sponsored", and we may earn a commission when you buy, at no extra cost to you. The calculator math does not change based on who pays us, and we will keep unfavorable results visible, such as a unit that is too small for your load.

Who runs it

Spicewood Secure Storage LLC, Spicewood, Texas. Contact: [email protected].

What we are not

Not an electrician, utility, insurer or medical adviser. If a power failure puts a person's health at risk (oxygen, CPAP, refrigerated medicine), talk to the device supplier and your utility about priority and backup options, and have a plan that does not rely on this page.
